I sat on Norfolk Beach needing to feel close to him on the anniversary of his death. It was a beautiful day in May and I was cutting class. I had done the same every year since he passed.
Jaxson Irons was only supposed to be in Pensacola for a year. But now three years later I still hadn't heard from him. I saw a man running down the beach and I knew immediately who it was.

This is the first book in the Irons Series.
This is the story of Jax and Frankie. Jax was born and raised to live the plan his father set for him. Jax has given his life to the military. Jax's best friend Will and his family gave him something he never had before, Normal he felt loved and accepted. When will passes away Jax puts as much distance as he can between him, and the life he had with Will's family. Now fate has put Frankie right in front of him. This time is's not running from his feelings. He will be what ever Frankie needs him to be. At this time she needs him to protect her, but how will he protect her when he may be the one causing the danger to her?
Once again MJ has given us all new characters to fall I'm love with. Jax is the dark hero in so many ways. I love his attitude. He knows what he wants and he's not afraid of a bit of work to get it. Frankie was not my fav character, but I see her growing as the story continues. Frankie demands thinks of Jax, then when he agrees she want to be mad at him. By the end of the book I did see Frankie settling and trying to work with Jax instead of agains him. I am looking forward to the next book while Jax is amazing the way he is I am looking forward to seeing Frankie grow a bit for the whining little girl to someone strong enough to stand next to Jax instead of behind him.
