*****I WAS GIVEN OF COPY OF THIS BOOK IN RETURN FOR AN HONEST REVIEW*****

Then we get to meet Mercy whom Nicolas is thinking is someone who is very crazy yet she is anything but. Mercy is carrying so many secrets that it’s a wonder she can talk her way out of anything. Mercy has Nicolas and Oz fooled until Aidrik makes his presence known.
There has always been something special about the Deschanel family and they have always been different from others. It’s not until Aidrik comes into the picture that they learn exactly why they are different from normal humans. I would highly recommend this book to anyone, I gave this book a five star but I wish I could give it more.

Overall impression of this book!!!!!
I would suggest this book to anyone that likes to read paranormal books that contain stories of empaths, and other paranormal abilities. Sarah is an amazing writer and I cannot wait to dive into the third book and find out what happens.
Midnight Dynasty:

Asunder:

Jacob Donnelly knows that something is seriously wrong with Amelia because she just isn’t acting like herself since she has been awake. So with that in mind he implores Amelia’s parents to help him fix what is wrong with Amelia. But what they find in the process is something that is very unthinkable and they remain hopeful it can be reversed. When they learn of what has been done can they overcome the obstacle and can Oz overcome the grief that he will be left reeling in because of the truth? Will Jacob and Amelia get their happily ever after or will they be destined to pain and suffering?

Sarah is the USA Today Bestselling Author of the Paranormal Southern Gothic series, The House of Crimson & Clover, born of her combined passion for New Orleans, and the mysterious complexity of human nature. Her work has been described as rich, emotive, and highly dimensional.
An unabashed geek, Sarah enjoys studying obscure subjects like the Plantagenet and Ptolemaic dynasties, and settling debates on provocative Tolkien topics such as why the Great Eagles are not Gandalf's personal taxi service. Passionate about travel, Sarah has visited over twenty countries collecting sparks of inspiration (though New Orleans is where her heart rests). She's a self-professed expert at crafting original songs to sing to her very patient pets, and a seasoned professional at finding ways to humiliate herself (bonus points if it happens in public). When at home in Oregon, her husband and best friend, James, is very kind about indulging her love of fast German cars and expensive lattes
Author Interview
1.
Provide information about
yourself. (What made you become a writer, ect.)
I’ve been
writing since I was 7, largely due to an overactive imagination that had the
propensity to get me in a lot of trouble. Creating worlds, especially, was
appealing to me, and some of my favorite authors were those who had spent
considerable time on their worldbuilding. This is still true today, and why I
have worked so hard to build out the world of the House of Crimson &
Clover.
2.
What inspires you to
write?
Everything. The
world around me. Music. Travel experiences. I can see a story in anything,
which is a gift that means everything to me.
3.
Tell us about your writing
style.
My style is
rather lyrical, almost like a dance. I like the sound of words as much as I
like how they’re put together, and I aim for a stylistic cadence. Beyond that,
I view setting as a character.
4.
Do you listen to (talk to)
your characters?
Let’s face it:
mine are in charge, completely. I set them on a direction, and they’ll go
whatever direction they feel like, frankly. They’re always in my head, telling
me what to do, where to go.
5.
What advice would you give
to other writers?
Write. Write,
write, write. I know new writers especially are hoping to hear about some magic
bullet, but that’s the only one I have. Your first priority should be to put
out quality products, and keep putting out quality products, and the more you
write, the better you’ll be. It’s incredibly rewarding to watch your growth
from one book to the next. That motivates me beyond anything.
6.
How did you decide on how
to publish your books?
I knew I wanted
full control over my creative, from the story to the covers and everything in
between. I also wanted the flexibility to publish on my own schedule.
7.
What do you think about
the future of book publishing?
Publishing has
been around for thousands of years. It’s stayed around this long by evolving to
different trends, markets, reader needs. I think e-books are here to stay,
though paperbacks aren’t going anywhere.
8.
What do you use when
writing and releasing books? (ex, beta readers, )
I have an alpha
reader who reads as I write, and then a team of 4-5 betas who get a crack at it
after my editor has taken her first pass. I also, then, have an omega reader who
does a quick read after my editor’s final pass, to check for any latent errors
hanging on.
9. What genre of books do you write?
Paranormal Southern Gothic, with romance, fantasy, history, and lore all
wrapped in.
10. What formats are your books in?
All my books are in both e-book and paperback formats.
11. What are your websites?

12. Do you have anything that you want to say to your readers /
followers?
I love to hear
from you! Love it! Feedback, questions, curveballs, you name it. Don’t be shy.
