This is a three book anthology based around a group of girlfriends who make a bet about who can have the most exciting adventure. The time that they make the bet is around Christmas, hence the holiday theme.
I love a good Christmas themed story, these weren't so heavy on the Christmas, it's more about the time period that it happens. There is some mention of snow, and things like that. But if you're looking for a Christmas centric story, these aren't that. However, I really liked all three stories!
There are four friends that these stories center around, the three books in the anthology are on Emma, Kaitlyn, and Paige's adventures while they try to win the bet. All three girls end up not really caring about the bet, because what they found is much more important to their life's happiness!
These stories are perfect glimpses into the beginning of three relationships. But they will leave you wanting to know more about the couples, or at least it did me! The guys in the stories; "The billionaire", "The biker", and "The rockstar" are just the right amount of hot and sweet combined! It's kind of hard for me to pick a favorite, but I guess based on the location I would have to go with Kaitlyn and Hudson a.k.a. "the biker"! Because their story is centered around them getting snowed in in the cabin! Which is like a dream.
Holiday encounters is the perfect quick read to get you in the mood for the upcoming holiday season! And if you're not excited about the holiday season, well then it's the perfect quick read to get you in the mood!
