This is the Third book in the Rising Storm 1001 dark nights series.
Lacy is trying to deal with the death of her brother Jacob. Its going well. Her dad is always working, or so he says. Her mom is falling apart the only thing holding her together is Ginny's baby. Everyone is walking on egg shells for Ginny. In the whole mix Lacy feels ignored. Louis is the only one paying attention to Lacy. Louis is Lacy best Friend Mallory's boyfriend. Will Louis be the boyfriend Mallory knows he is? Will Lacy get the attention she is looking for from Louis?
This is the first time I can say I loved hating this book. Lacy had me seeing red. Mallory is so sweet. I can't get over how Lacy treats her. Lacy is also taking down some other people in this one. Love, love, love this series can't wait for the next one.
Cupcakes and vodka gives this book 5 shots of vodka. Your gonna need it to calm down after this one.
